Today's the day. Check out Voices From The Mausoleum's YouTube channel tonight for a live launch of the anthology I'm in. My story is The Last Pot Roast.
The book is available right now on the 'zon! I'll drop that link in the comments.

Hey y'all. On Friday there's a live stream launch for the anthology I'm in, That Old House: The Kitchen. I made a video for it describing my story, The Last Pot Roast. Join us if you're hungry for horror! π₯© πͺ
SMH = I am innovating new ways to engage my agile neck muscles to empower my head to shake in order to display iterative disgust at high velocity.
A lot of ups and downs today between my son's birthday party and the news about Iran. Think I'll lay here and watch The Toxic Avenger.
Nice. I've tried to get up in the morning and write but my body rejects it. Haha
Hey authors, do you have set writing times? My main days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. My wife covers the kid duties. What are your routines?
Check out what I received with my author copy! Thanks to Voices From the Mausoleum Publishing. π΅ π§
Iβm excited because I just finished a draft of my cosmic horror novella set in feudal Japan. Itβs around 18k words. If you could say βexcellent!β like Bill and Ted that'd mean a lot.
Today over lunch I watched an episode of Enterprise with my youngest (he was home sick). Then a little while ago I watched an ep with my other kiddos. This is the first day I can say I watched Star Trek with all my kids! π π
At bedtime the other day my daughter came into my room. I told her she could hang out but I'm watching Star Trek (Enterprise). After the cold open, it kicks into Faith of the Heart, and she starts belly laughing. I guess even an 8 year old with no Star Trek knowledge gets how silly that song is.
So it's not just me?
Just finished a breakfast burrito so no matter what happens now, the day can't be all bad. π―
I'm 17,000 words into my cosmic horror novella set in feudal Japan. Hoping to finish the full draft tonight!
Man, I love random texters. It's probably a bot and I probably confirmed my number to scammers, but we can all use a little mischief now and then.
Sanderson dropping some wisdom.

Oh hey. It's #LetterboxdFriday. Here's my last 4 watched. Any thoughts?
Ready to take on the weekend like...
Seeing my film on a theater marquee is always a rush. The Fawn is playing at the Normal Theater this Saturday at 7pm. I even get to do a Q&A! This is a bright spot for me in these dark and gross times. If you're in the BN area, stop by and say hi. π¦
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
Ghostbusters. Keep Rick Moranis.
I'm reading Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind and it occurred to me that Neil Breen may have given us the most Zen movie title of all time.
TODAY IS CHRISTMAS.
It's still on YouTube. I'm just trying to be a tease. π
My film, That Damned Yellow Raincoat, still has some life on the festival circuit. It'll play at Blood Bash 2026!
There's always room for the 3 D's:

Deception
β
Domestic disputes
β
Demons
If that sounds up your alley & you can't make it to Michigan let me know and I'll send the link.
I love Matt Sears' work, and the tutorials he posts too.

I was at a funeral this weekend. I stepped out behind the church and saw this. It felt cinematic to me.
I download a copy of my story after each writing session because Iβm terrified that Iβm going to select the good text for a word count and accidentally, irrevocably delete everything.
There are A LOT of good options. Here are my top 5 favorite horror movies of the 80s. How'd I do?
