[6] Birthright citizenship is a longstanding constitutional right that has upheld the promise of equal citizenship for more than 100 years. We call on subcommittee members to uphold the U.S. Constitution and protect future generations’ right to citizenship.

[3] President Trump's birthright citizenship EO attempts to deny citizenship to babies born in the U.S. without at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or legal resident. So far, the EO has been rejected by every federal court.
