On Dec. 6, 1917 at 8:45 a.m., the Imo and Mont-Blanc (which was packed with explosives) collided in Halifax Harbour.
At 9:05 a.m., the Mont-Blanc exploded. The 2.9 kiloton blast levelled most of Halifax, killed 1,700 and injured 9,000.

On this day in 2003, Hurricane Juan made landfall near Halifax as a Category 2. It generated waves 20 metres high. About 31% of residential homes in Halifax suffered some degree of damage. It also caused extensive damage in Halifax Harbour and killed six people.
I love that cheese! So good on a steak.
I drive by it but never stop in. Definitely something I should do!

I used Organika one day (bovine) and WithinUs the next day (marine). Both are good and do slightly different things. The WithinUs dissolves quicker than the Organika one
