The verdict - βhow is this a Christmas movie?β π€¨ π
We, the teens and I, testing the theory if Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not.
Merry Christmas!π
Parenting milestone - when the kid informs you that supper was really good despite how it looks. π To be fair it was Loaded Potato soup, which never looks appealing.
Love that cover so much!
Too late for me, Iβve already bought my 2025 planner. π
That said - undated daily planners or pads are the way to go! No empty space, as there can be 2 days or 3 months between uses as youβre just using the next day.
(And no, my 2025 planner is not undated, but I do have one of those too)
The Globe and Mail is generally a right leaning/conservative paper, so these types of opinion pieces are normal for them.
Iβm Melissa. Iβm βcocky, boarderline arrogantβ in Gr 9 History because I wonβt let my teacher call me βMissyβ, I answer ALL of the questions, and because I LOVE history.
I still love history, now write regency romance (which he would have looked down on), and NO ONE is allowed to call me Missy. π
Such an adorable dragon!
@abigailreynolds.bsky.social it makes me think of you. π
Black cast iron vessel shaped like a dragon on top of a wood stove.
Have I ever introduced you to Dexter, our stove dragon?
Steam comes out of his nostrils when I remember to put water in his tummy.
I appreciate all of you who use the Alt-text description for the images you post. As a blind dude I feel so much more included here.
For those of you who forget:
Did you know thereβs a reminder in Settings/Accessibility to toggle on & then it wonβt let you post image without Alt-text.
Thanks ππ
Excellent information regarding how to create alt text for images, memes, videos, etc.
Thanks! I love the cover. Itβs by Holly Perret of The Swoonies book covers.
Great to connect with you too. And congrats on your recent release! π₯³

Hi! π
Iβm Melissa, from Toronto, Canada. I write Regency Romance and love reading all genres of romance, cozy mysteries, and the odd fantasy.
I love connecting with other authors and readers, learning about random historical tidbits, listening to podcasts, and the Toronto food scene.
I saw one last week. Itβs the ugliest vehicle Iβve seen.
I love this set! I keep it on my desk at work because you canβt kill these flowers!
Yes, excellent idea.

What would you do if you had a 14 year old assistant writer for a day? My kid is joining me at work for school, and I want to do more than just have her watch me write.
I thought she could help me with my social media, and we could do a research trip.
Anyone else have ideas?
