The US Governemt - The Trump/Musk Regime
It's about time we starting calling things what they are..
It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.

Trump is a fucking mob boss
Trump and Vance yell and trash talk Zelensky while sucking Putinβs dick. Thatβs where we are at. A century of global leadership vaporized in a month.
This makes me fucking boak. Starmer and the "king" do not speak for us and has no fucking right inviting the moronic bastard to Scotland. I just hope the Scottish people will turn out to show their utter contempt int he proper way - as Janey did.
FBI Uncovers Al-Qaeda Plot To Just Sit Back And Enjoy Collapse Of United States
A Labour-supporting colleague told me in the lead up to the general election that Keir Starmer was metaphorically carrying a priceless Ming vase toward the finishing line so's not spook the horses - he's remarkably quiet now the vase is in a million pieces and the horses have bolted for their lives!
I do enjoy slow-burn movies and thought #RedRooms was great. Its pondering of modern-day obsession with true-crime is interesting, and the ending was both unexpected and thought-provoking.
24hrs later and I'm still trying to work out how I feel about the protagonist.

Gave S2 of The Rig a go - now I remember why I disliked S1 so much! 2D characters (Mark Addy, Owen Teale, & Phil McKee surely deserve better), and a plot that is so contrived it's impossible to suspend disbelief.
Saved my sanity and switched it off after 30m π€

So, what are they gonna do about it? π
I thought "Good Thing," by the Fine Young Cannibals, was actually "Fruitcake." The song goes "Good Thing, where have you gone?" And I thought it was "Fruitcake! What have you done?"
Okay.
Just wanted to get that off my chest.
Watched this movie tonight. Interesting take on the genre and I'm a sucker for one-shot movies which helped a lot. Not the best French horror I've seen, but it'll do for a cold Sunday night πͺ

Given the start we made, that was a great result today for Hibs! #Hibs
Shame to come on here and be reminded by many that there's actually only 2 teams in Scotland and the rest of us are just here as fodder for pithy comments π
Just finished S2 of Squid Game. Felt like 3 episodes of ideas stretched to fill 7 episodes of time. It moseys along going nowhere fast and then ends just as it threatens to become interesting. Netflix will no doubt call that a 'cliff-hanger', I'd be more tempted to use the word 'shite'.
The Storm Of A Trillion Stars
In the UKβs nation state itβs impossible for the vox populi to reject politicians. Margaret Curran & Wendy Alexander are prime examples. We are being forced to accept them as our legislators & pay them Β£361 a day plus perks. The HOL is undoubtedly a corrupt & undemocratic institution. Shame on them
I'm so old, I remember when nationalised Royal Mail delivered the post twice a day with stamps at an affordable price. Then it was sold off and 'the superior efficiency of the private sector' kicked in.

Grotesque that FIFA is giving Saudi Arabia the World Cup. The lack of international punishments for a regime that murdered and dismembered one of my former colleagues at the Washington Post shows that money can allow you, quite literally, to get away with murder.
BREAKING: FIFA President Gianni Infantino announces that the 2034 Football World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia.
It would have been more fitting if heβd announced it by opening a briefcase of unmarked bills.
