#2025ISMPMI Wolf Frommer presents about the sweet secrets of Xanthomonas host plant interactions. Using this knowledge in a collaborative effort to generate Xanthomonas resistant rice varities for local producers.

I am looking for a (bio)chemist to join the lab and help us making affinity-based probes for proteases! The project is truly interdisciplinary with a strong computational chemistry component, peptide synthesis and plant biochemistry!

Is high evolvilbility a higher risk for spreading as a pathogen? Asian strains moving into Africa are causing an epidemic.
