I just released MIDICap (github.com/carlfranklin...) a Windows app that will play a MIDI file into a Piano and record the results to a WAV file. It solved a problem for me. Check out the README.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I absolutely think that it would survive a court challenge. You'd be justified in defending your home from unidentified men in masks breaking down your door. The problem is, you'd never make it that far, because you'd be dead.

While I absolutely agree with you in theory, in practice you would never make it to court, because they would have killed you for shooting one of theirs. No ifs, ands or buts. It would be retaliatory, and every single one of them would empty their magazines on you. Consequences (to them) be damned.

I was actually told by my manager that I needed to stop being "so negative" about AI, when what I really said was that for better or worse, the company would be stupid not to invest in AI when everybody else is using it, but that we needed to do it in a moral and ethical way.

Like everything else having to do with these types of conservatives, I think that literally the only thing that will change their minds is when something happens to THEM. If the "I regret voting for Trump" posts are any indication, it's the only thing that'll get to them.
