I'd love the opportunity to vote 3rd party, but it's a mathematical impossibility, IN OUR CURRENT SYSTEM, for that vote to accomplish anything other than spoiling our own candidate.

"You can come if you want." sounds to them like the person doesn't actually want them to come.
