Just a bit of art from the Bugaboo Pocket cutting room floor. Before we'd decided to design characters based on actual bugs, I'd just create my own funky critters. They'd be drawn quickly and lack any animation.

This one was simply named "roach01".

Here's a WIP of what I've been working on: it's a point-and-click adventure where a bunch of amateur ghost hunters explore a spooky old mansion filled with puzzles, booby traps and horny ghosts

We're so honored that we got to feature @alveussanctuary.org’s Zebra Isopod Ambassador Marty (and BB, can't forget that adorable stowaway) in our lil' bug game.

Even right at launch we had people recognizing Alveus and Marty in the game!

Made a custom 3D printed gachapon machine to match the in-game one from @bugaboopocket.bsky.social for today’s @dayofthedevs.org event!

To use the machine you had to insert a special coin and each capsule was filled with a bug fact and a holographic bug sticker. 🪲✨

Coming soon! Work on Bugaboo Pocket will resume again soon, but THIS boog is taking a day off to recover. 🥱

Okay so… I have to say it’s really difficult to work when I feel like we’re being attacked for existing. Still going to get Bugaboo Pocket out there though — if only to spread some joy during these absolutely garbage times.
