The last time I visited my mom, she handed me a couple of dried gourds. She’s been making gourd art for over a decade now and I figured I’d give it a go.

Some more Bugaboo Pocket cutting room floor art.
Here's "spider01".

Just a bit of art from the Bugaboo Pocket cutting room floor. Before we'd decided to design characters based on actual bugs, I'd just create my own funky critters. They'd be drawn quickly and lack any animation.

This one was simply named "roach01".

I once worked for a company whose head of HR told me she didn’t like music. Blew my mind. With just that tiny bit of information, you can glean how amazing it was to work there.

Dear Sizeable Following,

You should definitely do this so we don’t all get dragged under and have our creative freedoms encroached upon by a bunch of hate-filled tossers who are scared of people seeing boobs and other things. Call them today. Or send an email. Just do it.

Signed,

Me

I've listed my last 2 (of 13) Magicicada prints in my shop for the next week to celebrate #Invertefest!

I painted this last summer to celebrate the emergence of Brood XIII and cycles of change, life and death. It remains one of my favorites!

From top to bottom, left to right, there is the yellow-faced bumblebee, the orchard mason bee, the blueberry cellophane bee, the common long-horned bee, the western leaf cutter bee, the bumblebee-like digger bee, the bicolored sweat bee, and the eastern carpenter bee.

Here's a WIP of what I've been working on: it's a point-and-click adventure where a bunch of amateur ghost hunters explore a spooky old mansion filled with puzzles, booby traps and horny ghosts

We're so honored that we got to feature @alveussanctuary.org’s Zebra Isopod Ambassador Marty (and BB, can't forget that adorable stowaway) in our lil' bug game.

Even right at launch we had people recognizing Alveus and Marty in the game!

A gachapon capsule vending machine sits on a table in front of a gaming setup and monitor showcasing the Bugaboo Pocket indie video game. The gachapon machine matches the one shown on the screen.

Made a custom 3D printed gachapon machine to match the in-game one from @bugaboopocket.bsky.social for today’s @dayofthedevs.org event!

To use the machine you had to insert a special coin and each capsule was filled with a bug fact and a holographic bug sticker. πŸͺ²βœ¨

Never got around to it, but thought I'd spend the evening doing some non-work art. Peach needed more sass and Mario needed to look more like my dad ... I guess.

Okay so… I have to say it’s really difficult to work when I feel like we’re being attacked for existing. Still going to get Bugaboo Pocket out there though β€” if only to spread some joy during these absolutely garbage times.
