In the public sector there are strict rules on tendering/procurement. It’s not acceptable to refuse to shortlist or award a contract just because you don’t like the company or its owner. However, Musk is dangerous, interferes in our politics & stirs up hatred. No Ed Miliband. Not him or his company.

Oh dear, the gentlest of interviews for Badednoch on BBC R4 Today. It sounds like a bloke going to visit his elderly mum in her care home.

BBC News channel have a newsbar at the bottom of the screen “Starmer is not Churchill “ says Trump. It pops up every few seconds and it’s been on there now for 24 hours. The BBC are out to get Starmer, because it’s packed with Tory appointees. They’re laughing at us. #LisaNandy.

No, BBC R4 PM. Trump’s crass comments about Starmer not being Churchill should not be described as a “new low” for No 10.

Most Brits despise Trump and can see him for what he is. The closer he is to Starmer, the worse it is for Starmer. Keep your distance Keir.

Justin making a fool of himself on #bbcr4today. He mustn’t have heard Jeremy Bowen’s interview earlier and is aggressively questioning the govt minister. 😕

Just heard Clive Lewis on the radio. Disgraceful attack on Labour NHS policy, despite the investment and progress made. He might as well be writing the leaflets for our opponents. Withdraw the whip, lots of deserved criticism for Labour from other MPs, but this is way out of line.

Today Prog on R4 has its own resident Trump supporter, on daily, trying to explain stuff for his hero. He says Trump was digging the US out of a mess caused by Biden. No challenge by BBC of course. Why doesn’t BBC ask him if Trump lost the 2020 election? A question he’ll refuse to answer. #context

Funny isn’t is. Zero nuclear wars for 80 years, but potentially half a dozen during one year of Trump. 🤬🤬🤬

Will BBC stop saying the Andrew/Epstein thing has nothing to do with the dreadful goings on involving young women and girls and that it’s entirely about sharing information about trade. Why would Andrew have been passing this stuff on? What did he expect/get in return?

….and good old “Newsnight” play a clip of Trump today, which ends with him saying “ I’m exonerated”. A total lie.

10 pm BBC News. Entire prog is about Andrew/Epstein. Trump not mentioned yet. This is a terrible injustice involving many victims. It is much bigger in magnitude because of Trump’s relationship with Epstein, but BBC dare not make the connection. They are intimidated by Trump, who is suing them.🤬

These new “activists”. Semi-literate cap-doffers, defending billionaires & their tendency to avoid paying tax. The minimum wage employees pay tax you see, so why should the billionaires who own the businesses? It’s the same ppl who voted Brexit & argued “it was only a piece of cake”. What a state.🤬

UK media, inc BBC News staff, will be crawling over the Andrew story, with a sole objective: to link Andrew’s behaviour to Starmer, to find a way of saying “if only Starmer had..” This could go back to pre-history. There is no way they’ll run with this for weeks if it doesn’t damage Starmer.🤬

What’s wrong with UK media? Headlines about Andrew & Mandelson, but little interest in other ppl connected to Epstein. Trump’s in the thick of it, but press are treating that like a state secret. Trump/Farage - Farage/Bannon/Brexit all intertwined, but media refuse to explore/explain. Ditto in US.🤬

Another misjudgment from Keir Starmer re that Doyle fellow. He has to stop doing this. Having said that, it’s a bit rich of the Lib Dems having a go at Starmer from what they think is the moral high ground.

I honestly don’t think journalists understand how disappointed many people are in them.

How disappointed people are in the obvious failures to investigate Reform / Farage.

How disappointed they are in the lack of scrutiny of the other parties.

Oh dear! BBC Today using a tiny snippet from the Epstein files to promote Trump. Giving the false impression that “good guy” Trump grassed up Epstein 20 years ago, telling the FBI he knew Epstein was up to no good. It’s less than 1% of what is known about their relationship & blatant distortion.

Tory MPs regularly sent letters in to their 1922 committee, hoping to get the numbers needed to remove their leader. BBC reported is as a polite & orderly process carried out in the professional manner expected from the party that was “born to lead”. Utter tripe of course. It was 5 years of chaos.

09.02.2026 23:13 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

BBC news describes the resignation of a govt advisor almost nobody has heard of as “chaos”. After replacing successive PMs, multiple chancellors and umpteen Home Secretaries, only with reluctance did the BBC go near such a term during the Johnson, Truss and Sunak years. Pathetic from BBC News.

Set up. If Trump gives her clemency, Ghislaine Maxwell will testify - exonerating Trump & Clinton. It’s possible that Clinton doesn’t need “exoneration” and will explain, but Trump says he wants to “help Bill”. Let the Clintons speak on camera, in public and let justice take its course. #contrick
