THEN maybe locked in the emulsion onto my screens because I applied the emulsion remover wrong (BOTH OF MY SCREENS). so. not only was I not able to produce a SINGLE stencil, my screens are also now unusable.

Tried photo emulsion for screen printing for the first time today... Got the emulsion coated last night... Woke up early bc I was excited to do some testing... Did some test exposures to find the correct exposure time... AparENTLY overexposed everything.

omg!!! the hair in that first panel!!! AND I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but the way you convey mood and tone through your drawings and paneling is incredible!!!

Ah thank you soooo much! The last panel was the one I was struggling the most with in terms of layout/pace, so I'm so glad that cold feeling came through!

Comic starts with a panel of Akechi, saying "I- I didn't want to start an argument." Next panel shows Akechi again, but smiling and holding an index finger to his mouth. He says, "I just can't help myself sometimes." The next panel shows Sumire and Joker sitting at a table in the cafe. Sumire says "O-Oh! That's okay, Akechi-san!"

A panel of Akechi, smiling, says "Let's change the subject to something a bit lighter." Each subsequent panel of Akechi zooms in while the background gets darker. The last panel shows a slightly zoomed out image of Joker on a dark background, with the word "Liar" written in white.

I'm replaying P5R with my sister, and I had forgotten how WILD the Akechi dialogues were.
