Mine seems to be accurate. Selenium degrades when exposed to light, keep it covered and it stays sensitive for decades.

The joy comes when you embrace imperfection and consider it to be the worlds most anonymous film swap. Someone in the recesses of time shot a roll of film, forgot about it and eventually it came to you. The end result is so random, it's brilliant!

I have an Olympus 35RC and rate it highly. It's worth a punt on one even If the electronics dont work, its ok as you can use it without batteries. There's plenty of light meters on the market, including phone apps.
