The museum is the childhood home of Sir Henry Jones (1852-1922) who, from humble origins, became an eminent Professor of Moral Philosophy at Glasgow University and a major influence on the education system in Wales. We are based in Llangernyw North Wales.

Jobs for this Saturday
Hereβs what weβve got planned for this week:
β’ Make fruit bush cuttings for SHJM and some to take home
β’ Removing old vegetable plants (tomatoes) that have stopped producing
β’ Potting on leeks
β’ Tidying borders and cutting back plant growth
We will also be planting broad beans again as they did so well over the last winter. We will also use one of the winter sessions to turn the compost heap, probably November, which will aerate the material which will help with the composting process.
It might be cooler in the garden but there is still plenty to do and we might finally get on top of gardening the borders. The school will be planting onions and garlic in pots next week and again planting them out into the garden once the plants develop some roots.
Hello Lovely Gardeners,
It's SHJM Incredible Edible gardening on Saturday 11th Oct from 12.30 PM to 2.00 PM, please note the change of day and time, as we are now into our winter time sessions, see attached a poster for more dates too!
