Mate, doing my best. I've got Motorhead cranked. Another muso gone much too young.
@david-j-harley
Wanted to be a journo, turned out to be an ad man, at least not a mad man. Father, grandfather, music lover and reader. Things looked bright in 1994, not sure what 2054 will be like. Don't forget your towel.
Mate, doing my best. I've got Motorhead cranked. Another muso gone much too young.
Morning Ian, g'day all. Sunny Sunday here in Lithgow. Hope you have a superb day!
Mel, as a parent, grandparent & uncle to too many nieces & Vnephews, I'm horrified at the state of the world now. Back in 1983, getting into radio, I read an item on 2SER about World Food Day, the Earth could feed the people many times over. The problem wasn't with growing, it was distribution & war
Arvo Ian, g'day all. It's local show day, so I may go have a look see. Hope you have a superb Saturday!
Morning Ian, g'day all. Hope you have a fantastic freaky Friday!
Lol, didn't sleep last night, feeling jet lagged.
Arvo Ian, g'day all. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
Back in the days when I had hair and sported odd hairstyles, we'd gather on a Friday night with a can of hairspray and a hairdryer. Sleeping for the rest of the weekend was awkward. Now adays, I prefer to just watch the flocks of cockatoos fly past my window.
Not sure which I'm more terrified of, the shirt or the level of police force to restrain a young person. Actually, I am sure which I'm more scared of, not for myself but for those that protest now like I did when I was young. This is wrong and has to stop. People should be allowed to protest.
Superannuation? I live and dream of having enough. It ain't going to happen. Every time it grows a bit, something around the world causes it to crash. Not sure what the balance will be next month, but the growth in my fund year to date has been zero...
Isolated, ffs, it will only take one accident on the Bells Line to completely cut the Central West off from the Sydney.

Age, wear and tear, dunno.
Morning Ian, g'day all. Great Western Highway is still closed in both directions, good thing the trains are still running. It's looking like the GWH will be out of action indefinitely, with the Bells Line of road the only to and from Sydney to the West. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! Take care
Thanks Ian, logged into Centrelink and declared my nil hours and earnings and it looks like I'll get my payment tomorrow. It's dumb, it's stress people already struggling don't need. It shouldn't need luck, all it needs it compassion, empathy and a decent level of support, all lacking at the moment.
Mate, I uploaded my medical certificate again and will see if I get my payment in the morning. If not, they will be dealing with a very grumpy old man in their office.
Evening Ian, g'day all. Early morning CT scan on my chest with the contrast dye, amazing that feeling up your arm and then the need to wee. Booked the trip with a local ride share and crashed after I got home. Hope you've have had a terrific Tuesday!
If only I was really on the train. My only relaxing has been cooking my own cooking for dinner to eat in front of the TV.
Mate, I'm at home. My sister in the green overalls photoshopped us in. Wish I was on holidays!
Digitally altered photograph showing my sister and I seeing my sister and her hubby off to Darwin on The Ghan. Obviously, I didn't stay on the train long enough to take my hat off.
Evening Ian, g'day all. Been a busy day, one of my sisters is travelling on The Ghan and another snuck us (digitally) on board. Hope you've had a great day, not as warm as my sister in the middle of the desert (and not too wet like here)!
Morning Ian, g'day all. Hope you have a superb Sunday!
Morning Ian, g'day all. Doc confirmed a chest infection, on antibiotics and feeling so much better today. Reckon I picked up the lurgy last time I was at the docs. One of few wearing a mask yesterday.
Hope you have a superb Saturday!
Have fun and take care.
Centrelink rejected my new doctor's last medical certificate, hopefully the one uploaded today will meet their expectations, it's much the same as the certificates they've accepted for over 5 years. Once it ran out my old job provider immediately told Centrelink I wasn't meeting Mutual Obligations.
Yeah, and I've been kicked of Jobseeker after 5 years. Fun times ahead!
Morning Ian, g'day all. Back from the docs, some antibiotics for my chest and a CT scan booked. Good to get it sorted. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!
Hooked up and working well.
Arvo Ian, g'day all. Sis let me know she got home safe down south, we had a wild drive here last night over the mountains. Hope you're having a tremendous Thursday!
Arvo Ian, g'day all. Been having some tech issues, sorted now, I hope. Have a marvellous Monday!
The Dingo CafΓ©, family friendly, great coffee and food. Great place to drop in if you're passing through Lithgow.
Arvo Ian, g'day all. Great gig last night, if a bit intimate. It was odd not getting home until after 3am, I blame the groupies that wanted to party on. Breakfast at a cafΓ© has made me feel almost normal. Hope you have a superb Sunday!
Arvo Ian, g'day all. Big gig tonight in a small town, my mates band One World are playing, should be another great gig, biased, I've only seen them play a few hundred times since the late 80s. Hope you have a superb Saturday!
