As a Newcastle fan I do find myself scratching my head when I hear Arsenal fans complaining about their season.
When did the CL become the “most important” comp in football? I was never interested in Europe apart from the odd trip (and wanting other English clubs to lose). Our league & cups were always more important. It’s money mainly, isn’t it? Or is it the thrill of playing teams like Barca? #nufc

I think what I should have suggested is that the squad is big enough but not talented enough?
The schedule has proved too much for this squad. It looks like they tried different techniques to cope with the workload but the squad isn’t big enough, talented enough or versatile enough to manage. Also, injuries. Not unexpected but certainly helped the wheels fall off.
I’m just hoping we don’t hear “We played well for twenty minutes” thing from him afterwards. You may as well say “We had some nice banners”.
