Good morning!

In DC, I saw people more focused on serving their stock portfolios than serving their constituents. Families are struggling to get by while politicians and their billionaire donors get even richer. I refuse to sit on the sidelines and watch things get worse.

My name is Mary Peltola, and I'm running for U.S. Senate to fight for fish, family, and freedom – and that begins with fixing the rigged system in DC that’s shutting down Alaska.

We need systemic change if we're going to lower costs, save our fisheries, and fill our homes with abundance again.

In the last 10 minutes? I have the OPM email sailing it closed in my inbox from 14 minutes ago.

I hope it stays open thru March 17 and see if congress funds it or closes government and doesn't pay those resigners.

Make sure you file your taxes and pay anything you owe before the deadline. Or that may be used as cause to fire you. This isnt the year you want to be late by even a day.

USDA inspector general escorted out of her office after defying White House Phyllis Fong, a 22-year veteran of the Agriculture Department, had told colleagues that she intended to stay after the White House fired her Friday.

Security agents escorted the inspector general of the U.S. Department of Agriculture out of her office on Monday after she refused to comply with her firing by the Trump administration. The 22-year veteran of the department told colleagues that she didn’t believe proper protocols had been followed.

Yep, I won't be taking it. If they fire me, hopefully I can appeal that in the future and get reinstated.

Curious how many will walk out the door.

The Alaska House is set to take up HJR4, a resolution opposing changing Denali's name.

This morning, the resolution advanced out of the Rules. It is on hold for a minute while waiting for an amendment to be distributed.
