It’s fascinating. No attempt is made to figure it out. Just plain stop and will rarely inform you of that stop. I would have to work extra to extract that info. Over the years I learned to structure my requests to alleviate a lot of the issues but it was eye opening.

As someone who has employed and supervised hundreds of student workers in a university. I often refer to them as robots. They will do exactly what you told with great efficiency. The problem is the second something strays outside of the parameters set they lock up and are unable to proceed.

Brainstorming ideas for player relevant personal quests in our next DnD game. Lord forgive me for what I am going to put them through.
