Two carved cappuccino bowls, stacked. The bottom bowls is a deep blue green, the bowl inside of this is a dark pink with blue highlights. Both have undulating rims. The bowls are seated on a rock, with frozen lake water in the background.
Two shallow bowls with undulating rims, one larger with a smaller one placed inside of it. Both are glazed in a deep sea green glaze. The bowls are seated on a rock, with lightly frozen lake water in the background.
Two large ramen/noodle bowls, stacked on top of each other. The top bowl is tilted so that you can see it's interior. There is a swirl in the bottom of the bowl. The bowls are seated on a rock, with frozen lake water in the background.
Bowls. I'll be at the Halifax Brewery Market (Lower Water Street) tomorrow (Saturday, 8-1) with these and lots more. See you there.

Our opening reception is on Thursday, March 6th, from 4-6pm. You are invited. It's a small show in the two casement windows of the gallery. But it's my first ever gallery show, so if you can make it, I would love to see you there.
Love the faces, especially the unglazed and matte green exteriors!
Dinnerware. I love making plates, but - or perhaps because - they are really difficult for me. I lose quite a few of them along the way.
Something I read the other day, stays in my mind and begs to be shared - "do not lose heart. we were made for these times"

I love skating, and am so happy for the cold.
Yes! We are lucky to live on a lake, and it's frozen right now.
Thanks, ST!
