Nobody can sit on the sidelines right now — there’s too much at stake.

What a great evening in Frederick County! Thank you to Lois Jarman for hosting us, and to Brad Young and the dozens of folks from the community who came out to hear how we’re building a winning team and taking the fight back to Washington.
Wild things are happening over on Twitter.
The people of Frederick County know that when we have strong partnerships between our local, state, and federal leaders, our communities win. That’s exactly what we did in the House, and what we’ll continue to do when we go back to Washington.
Team Trone is excited to have incredible leaders like Brad and Renee joining us in our fight to stand up to Donald Trump and protect our communities from the MAGA agenda.
We wrapped up International Women’s Day in Frederick, touring women-owned small businesses on the Golden Mile with local leaders. Fear of ICE and the uncertainty of Trump’s tariffs impact these entrepreneurs every day, but with the support of the community around them, they continue to thrive.
For lunch, in honor of International Women’s Day, we stopped by Brooke’s House in Hagerstown, sharing a meal with Kevin & Dana Simmers & women in recovery. Their courage to fight the disease of addiction inspires me every time I visit with them & is a reminder of Brooke’s legacy that lives on.
We kicked off International Women’s Day by hosting a brunch in Germantown to celebrate some of the fantastic women who are fighting for our democracy and our future in Montgomery County. Thanks to @lesleyjlopez.bsky.social, Lisa Fuller, & the dozens of women who showed up today & every day!
ICE knows they can lie and murder and Trump won't hold them accountable. But we will. We have an obligation to fight back and protect our neighbors.
ICE is executing Americans in the streets and lying about it. All of our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and loved ones are in danger because of these brutal thugs.

When Roe fell, and West Virginia criminalized abortion, women had nowhere to go. That’s why the Women’s Health Center of Maryland in Allegany County is so vital.
Join us next Saturday in Gaithersburg for a Saint Patrick’s Day celebration! ☘️

We must continue to stay vigilant, protest, and fight back against this administration as it attacks our immigrant communities – the communities that have built America from the ground up for the past 250 years.
Kristi Noem's tenure at DHS was disastrous. Even though she's gone, ICE is still terrorizing our communities and expanding their lawlessness in Maryland.
In Congress, I will continue to build on my 100% lifetime pro-labor record and fight for union workers everywhere.
Unions build America. And I'm proud to have their back every step of the way. They know that I'll always answer their call. I'm so grateful to have the support of my friends at IBEW Locals 24, 26, 307, and 1200, SMART International, and SMART Local 100.
With Jessica’s support, we will keep building a stronger, fairer Maryland together.
Jessica has been a champion for our schools, local economy, and community safety, and now she is standing with me as we fight to protect our democracy, lower costs for working families, and deliver real results for Frederick County.
Big news! Thank you to Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater for endorsing my re-election to Congress.
ICE watch: dozens of vehicles have moved to the warehouse in Washington County slated to become a new ICE detention facility. We must keep fighting back and doing everything we can to protect and support our immigrant community.
The lives of all of our servicemembers are precious. That’s why our government made it hard to go to war — so that immoral, authoritarian leaders can’t be so flippant with American lives. Congress must take action NOW to protect the men and women who are on the frontlines of Trump’s war.
As we speak, six American families are dealing with the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their loved one. These heroes made the ultimate sacrifice. Our President’s response? “That’s the way it is.” Despicable.
That’s why I convened a group of elected officials and advocates in Germantown yesterday to discuss our plan of action and learn more about the resources that are needed to fight back. I’m grateful to everyone who joined us from across the state. We will win this fight together.
As ICE thugs expand their lawless, violent chaos in our Maryland communities, we must work together — not just to stop them, but to protect our vulnerable friends and neighbors every step of the way.
Launching broad military action that risks dragging the United States into another endless war—without authorization from Congress—disregards our Constitution and the American people’s voice in decisions of war.
Donald Trump must answer to them.
I’m grateful for our servicemembers’ courage and sacrifice, and in moments like these, they deserve leadership that is lawful, strategic, and focused on keeping them, and our country, safe.
I served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. I know just how high the stakes are for the U.S. and our allies, including Israel.
Let me be clear: Iran must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, but this morning’s strikes raise grave concerns.
Counting on it, Mike 👍
Democrats WILL take the House and can take the Senate. Which makes it even more important to elect Democrats who will stand up to Trump, fighting him and his radical MAGA agenda.
Last night we heard a lot from Donald Trump, but the clearest vision for our country’s future came from the Governor of VA
@abigailspanberger.com.
She said it best: “We the people have the power to change, the power to stand up for what is right, the power to demand more of our nation.”
