Apparently a Kyu Gunto ceremonial sword worn by Japanese cops in 40s, probably machined and not forged, given to my grandparents sometime after the war ended.

I just can’t believe no one told me about my *grandma owning a sword* my mom was like “oh I didn’t know you’d be interested in it!”
