Melon Ball went to daycare today and the staff said she didn’t always read social cues and would try to play rough with other dogs when they were chilling, especially as the day wore on. Husband was like yeah, she gets a little tough to take when she’s hungry. They were like OH so she gets HANGRY? 💯

I can tell when Melon Ball is displeased with me but it’s usually because I won’t let her eat her weight in food or destroy shoes. So it depends on what she considers incompetence. 🤣

Yeah, games and competition do not motivate me. Sometimes they will actively DEmotivate me. The annoying thing is that I know this about myself but I subscribed to this dumb app anyway.

Y’all I’ve had less than zero motivation to workout lately, so I signed up for Ladder. Um. It’s been a couple weeks and all I’ve done is open and closed the app because it’s just not speaking to me. Everyone says they love it but it feels too gamified or something with fake motivational hype for me.

Why are Buy Nothing people the biggest flakes? Lady canceled on me yesterday. I just brought the lamp inside because she never came today and it rained. “She got a flat tire” so now she’s coming tonight. I’m doubtful, plus this wet lamp is going to short circuit on her when she turns it on anyway.

I’m leaning big into festive holiday beverages this year. Give me all the gingerbread lattes, the peppermint mochas, the hot spiced ciders, the mulled wines, the eggnogs, the cranberry martinis, the apple cinnamon teas, and winter beers.

Oh. Now that I look closer, this was not a flattering photo because she looks very grumpy.

Does anyone use Empower instead of Uber or Lyft? I’ve been trying to use them because the drivers keep more of their earnings, but it also seems like they’re bottom tier. The other day I got a driver who REEKED of BO and talked at me about Teslas, lithium batteries and hyper cars for the whole ride.

Everything is terrible, I have a need to sign up for a cute but insipid craft project at a brewery.
