One reason we should be concerned about this tax is how it will cause wealthier individuals to leave the state for havens like FL and TX. Often times these wealthier individuals are job creators, and own businesses. Brace yourselves for an exodus of jobs, especially if these people have grown kids.

Terrible. We’re living through the fall of the US in so many ways.
This article is funny, but definitely a real issue. My sister’s kids were failures to launch. They were admitted to good colleges, but couldn’t handle going into the dorms. Homesick. Why?? Too much coddling.

Wouldn’t it be great if a hero in his administration somehow released the rest of the Epstein files, unredacted, at the same time as the SOTU? And one of his aides whispered it into his ear right before he began speaking? That would be justice.
Not my idea, but I like it…maybe call him President Epstein from now on.
Playing tonight
I was a freshman in the dorms, and these brothers across the hall introduced me to R.E.M., this song, and much, much more. I was Alice falling down the rabbit hole, and suddenly I couldn’t get enough music. This is where the real education began.
