Genau das wäre die Überlegung: ihm nicht viel Raum geben. Wenn es möglich wäre, seine NS-Nähe mit einem Adjektiv o.ä. zu schildern und dazu auch eine Fußnote hinzuzufügen wäre mein Vorschlag.

Wie wichtig ist der Autor für deinen Text? Wird er mehrmals zitiert? Ist der NS Bezug bekannt (z.B. Heidegger) oder eher unbekannt? Je nachdem würde ich die Entscheidung treffen.
