We're building a campaign focused on what students actually need, from students. I hope to bring my experience directly working with and listening to students Helping Hearts to the VSB.

A while ago, I had the honour to receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal reflecting my work and the work of hundreds of young volunteers supporting students across the Lower Mainland.
I am saddened to learn that Vancouver Car Free Days will not take place this year. These events celebrate our neighbourhoods & small businesses, & encourage folks to use active transport. I’ll work with Car Free Vancouver Society, impacted orgs & businesses, & Council to get them back on the road!
So grateful for your tireless advocacy Lucy! I've been speaking to so many parents who are breathing a sigh of relief at this wonderful news.
As a candidate, I understand that everyone deserves a seat at the table on our school board, especially students. So, even if the VSB doesn't want to hear him out, I do— so I did!
The Vancouver School Board heard from Alex, a student, this Monday. Instead of hearing his message about his concern that the top jobs at the VSB were getting higher raises while students lack the resources they need, they decided to interrupt him.
I'm a proud papa today
Sharing an amazing tidbit from my role as the founder/leader of Helping Hearts where we successfully held Love Loud— a little open mic for students. It was incredible to hear so many young artists be given a platform when art and culture are threatened across Vancouver.
Schools are the lifeline of livability in Vancouver. They bring life to our communities and make daily life easier for families. In Olympic Village, where nearby schools are far and overcapacity, an elementary school is essential. Like the vast majority of parents, I support building one.
City Hall continues its disappointing cuts by taking away a key part of Vancouver’s democratic input. These moves are dangerous to public engagement and transparency—especially when these committees protect key fields like renters, youth, and food policy!
Thoroughly disapprove of this budget! Spending responsibly is important, but these blind cuts to baby changing tables, local libraries, and art aren't it– it's political strategy.
