Not surprisingly, folks are fearful of the actions taking place in Washington and the consequences they'll have on working Montanans and their families. More than anything, Montanans want answers from their representatives -- not bogus template letters. Zinke, Sheehy, Daines, and Downing have none. That's why they're nowhere to be found. The refusal by our congresssmen and senators to answer Montanans is an abdication of responsibility. Montana: Here's what's next on the DOGE chopping block. Social Security offices in Kalispell and Missoula. Customs and Border Patrol in Shleby. Bureau of Indian Affairs in Pablo. Motor Carrier Safety Administration in Helena. Fish and Wildlife service in Great Falls. Fish and Wildlife service and Fish Health Center in Bozeman. Animal and Plant Health Inspection in Billings. Natural Resources Conservation in Missoula. Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center in Bozeman. These cuts don't prevent "waste, fraud, and abuse". They only make it harder for Montana to still be the Last Best Place.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are hacking away Montanans’ livelihoods every chance they get. Layoffs, office closures, and a neglected environment don’t prevent corruption – they just make life unnecessarily harder.
