A beautiful quote from one of our learners that started on one of our Supporting Young People Into Work Programmes. This learner has recently started employment as a Dementia Support Worker 💪🐸

Alex found his future career on a trip to Torbay. After visiting a blacksmiths workshop, he began a Supported Internship in #Plymouth and has already made his first set of tongs. His confidence is growing every day. A brilliant start.

#GetTheNationLearning - Janette, a carer, first joined our Slow Cooking for Carers course and found a love for learning. Wanting to build her confidence with numbers, she joined our #Multiply Budgeting course, mastering percentages and everyday maths. She’s now working towards a qualification!

Members of our Paignton Centre enjoyed a group day last week. Taking some much needed R&R in the sunshine whilst honing their golfing skills and getting to know each other away from the classroom. These activities can play a huge part in boosting social skills and teamwork. 🌞
