I was at Bookers 70 point game and remember thinking how embarrassing it was for a player down 20 to be gunning for a stat. I feel no such way about Bam. No matter how he did it, he got to 83 while leading his team to a win. I still don’t understand the fuss the record is 100 not 81.

They are. But having an extra big man especially one that can spread the floor and keep Wemby from freelance would have helped.

I think the thing that gives me most optimism going into playoffs is that once Tatum is up to speed, he’s going to go into the playoffs without all the bumps and bruises and sore wrist that players accumulate during regular season.
