Politics has been destroying my sanity, work has been outrageously stressful, and now I'm sick with who knows what. No shock I guess that I'd have a weakened immune system but man, I really didn't need another thing dragging me down.

From what I hear you may also want to delete off Messenger as well. I hear from unreliable sources that it's the worst for vacuuming up all your data, but even if that's not true it's probably worth deleting off your phone.

Interesting thing about Bluesky vs certain other platforms- I don’t get tons and tons of suggested friends all the time, since Bluesky doesn’t own all the social media platforms.. and also I don’t think it asks people to share their phone contacts. Kinda refreshing in a way
Maybe it's worth starting with some Cosplay Photography to help the algorithms along? This is from a couple years ago at NYCC when I put in extra effort and toted a lighting rig along with me on the subway into the con. It meant not much exploring the floor that day, but I got some good photos!
Haven’t really started using Bluesky yet- I suppose I don’t NEED social media but I used to enjoy some of those sites that have now become ensittified cesspools. So, like… Bluesky, fill my feed with stuff about running, photography, cosplay, art, music, I need all the fun&creativity I can get
