This morning, Ken Sim and ABC killed Vancouver’s Social Housing Initiative, which would’ve allowed more non-market housing, like co-ops, social housing, supportive housing, to be built faster.
Vancouver needs a City Council that will take action on affordable housing, because Ken Sim and ABC won’t.
CMHA: “there is a lack of evidence to support the effectiveness of involuntary treatment for people with substance use disorder, and that existing evidence actually suggests that involuntary treatment leads to an increased risk of death due to drug poisoning upon release.”
Two fantastic contenders just entered the race to be Vancouver’s next mayor.
