Around 20 years ago I had a client that was a former chief of police in rural Wisconsin that lost his job for drinking and driving. That breathalyzer result must have been legendary.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Losing a treasured member of the family is so hard.

That may be the worst thing they've done, and that is saying a lot.

It depends on how much driving somebody does and how much they dislike buying gasoline, I suppose. My car gets 40-50mpg, so I'm not impacted as much as others by these changes.

I don't know about the distance, but I've been reading a little about home solar and it's been saying that one could save around $50 a month off a $2000 investment.

I saw somebody bragging about using a solar panel and battery to recharge their car every day. Pretty good for them, I suppose.

I'm also glad the potatoes and asparagus turned out so well!

The broiler can kind of act as a grill!

Grilled asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper is simple, fast and fantastic.

I can think of political reasons for this. For example, a lot of the Civil Rights era actions were illegal. They were probably state crimes, but admitting that you did it and having the punishment ended makes sense.

It's hard to say how it should be changed, but it's not working correctly now.

The beer is definitely the superior Weiss.

I agree! This is exactly what republicans approve of; all you have to do is look at the polling numbers.

I work in a medical related field and accidentally searched fir a drug with AI (I always add "-ai" to Google to omit AI results). It returned the exact opposite of what I was looking for. AI in medicine will kill many people unable to discern what is correct and what isn't.

That was a great time to move on, aside from before that. We did a lot of canine work at the CRO where I worked. It was sad, but I was thankful for the quality of the veterinary care.

I decided that using a pliers or some similar tool was preferable to just picking them up.

You're missing the point. They are doing their job. Republicans have been the party of tyranny and corruption for decades. To think or expect otherwise is to ignore reality.

The current policies are Republicans "doing their job" in their mind.

08.03.2026 01:24 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Unfortunately, the context of your viewpoint is naive.

Republicans are never going to "reign in" the people they are working for.

Larry, have oil companies spent much time and money trying to influence the direction of the republican party?

Have oil companies been doing this long enough for you to only blame the group being bribed than you are to include the open wallets buying off these scumbags?
