I finished doing a duo modelling session and thought I would take a few quick selfies with the timer.

I think I need to plan a little more next time! 😂

I was back at one of my favourite life drawing groups this week. It’s run by the fabulous Nicola and her son Harry

It’s lovely how everyone chats as they draw and include me in the conversation.

Artwork will follow in subsequent posts but there was a mixture of 5 to 20 minute poses.

Yes, you can do that with poses. Think it’s fine then a few minutes in think OMG!

Definitely challenging for 20mins. I do that as a 5-10 max but well done for holding for 20!

Excellent. I've had it done to me a couple of times a few years ago but would love to do both modelling with it and also draw at a session

How was it?

I made my debut at a Wakefield based group. It was a welcoming atmosphere in such a creative environment.

Lots of wonderful artwork produced on the evening. I only managed to get a few photos as I spent too much time chatting!

Shorter poses in the first half and a standing 45m pose.

The last life drawing of the year at a Thirsk based life drawing group gave me the opportunity to go full ‘Santa’ 😂 Rudolph even joined me for the evening

Yes absolutely. I obviously get that when I model at the group I organise but it’s nice going to other groups and seeing familiar faces although everyone is so friendlyb

I had a day to myself on Saturday so used the morning to meeting up with artists for another social Zoom life drawing session.

A morning of chat and banter and some wonderful artwork which I’ll be sharing. These are a few of the poses and of course Paddington stole the show!

Last time I had issues with the consent form but I think it was mainly due to completing some on pc but the photos being on my phone

I need to finish the consent forms in order to participate
