Also fixed the hallway lights. There are three of them, we obviously waited for them all to go and then waited weeks before replacing them.
It is now a torture tunnel brighter than the sun. Might take two bulbs out again.
Guys, we’ve replaced the lights on our hob and in the oven. I don’t remember when they last worked, it’s been years.
It took one trip to B&Q and 2 mins to do.
Let’s just call this what it is: bad parenting.
Some parents would like to see their kids' and their kids' families' identities reflected in age-appropriate films, but I guess those parents can eat rocks.
I just went for a quick walk through the village and was forced into the mud by a group of 3 older women 🤦♂️
Not seen: A farmer with a boat and a bag of grain scrumpling up his plans and throwing them away in a tearful fit of defeated pique
Not familiar with Glasgow but that’s something all cohorts of people I’ve ever come across struggle with.
Dropped in to suggest the same thing, participation medals should probably be a more common thing. Everyone pays for one after all!
The fossil fuel giants get a lot of the climate change flack (rightly so) but the meat industry are right up there. History will judge us poorly for our ongoing obsession with both.
I always prioritise fit, given I have wide feet it severely limits my options. Then I’ll always try to wait til there is an offer and pick the most affordable option.
Colour is important as well, often not much choice once I’ve factored in the above tho.
Always get 1000km plus from Altras but the upper usually comes away from the sole on the inside ball of the foot. I usually don’t care unless it gets big enough to collect stones then I patch it up.
A fascinating experiment in how much you can piss off your target market chasing money. I suspect there’ll always be enough willing to pay for the UTMB name/stones sadly.

A small girl wearing a rabbit costume and blue coat carries a book as she walks to school. Her mother (head out of shot) wheels her baby brother along in a pushchair. The baby says "Peter Rabbit may be the 'Hero' of the story, but surely the obedient, widowed Mrs Rabbit is a more effective symbol of the oppression inherent within Mister McGregor's regime" The girls looks furious and snaps "Mum!! He's critiquing my world book day costume from a marxist perspective again!"

Did not need to see this to know I was ill, although I’m quite impressed by just how out of range everything is.
The downside of being able to WFH is I’m tempted to work despite feeling like shit.
This is a leader for universal basic income right? …. Right?
I read it more that she thinks autism is a problem that should be solved so pointless to diagnose those who have similar traits but don’t cause problems. Maybe thats the same thing tho.
I guess you could interpret her comments in that way, she was very keen to reserve the autism diagnosis for the most severe cases so maybe she doesn’t want to include “people” that cope under the same umbrella. A lot of reading between the lines tho.
No doubt various people and govt will be pleased with this take but I can’t imagine many neurodiverse peeps will think it is a fair representation of their lived experiences. Can’t get my head around denying ND people mask.
When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.
A conclusion I am increasingly reaching is that the state of Israel is behaving in a way that demands immense critique and criticism, and also that there is probably no way to have an anti-Israel political movement that does not raise the level of ambient antisemitism to at least some degree.

This image is a popular internet meme or a parody book cover created by a social media account named "@StoryOfMyLife" (or "@storyofmyfuckinglife" on Instagram). The account specializes in creating brutally honest and relatable book covers that humorously summarize common life experiences. Content: The "book" title, "Hypothetical Arguments I've Won in the Shower Vol 1 of 16," is a relatable joke about the common human tendency to mentally rehearse and "win" arguments or scenarios in one's head, often while doing mundane activities like showering.

There's a lot of mean-spiritedness about people who have gone to live in Dubai. We need to help, and ensure they have secure accommodation in the UK for 91 days of the next tax year.

Fair. Things could be a lot worse here.
But also just cos they could be worse doesn’t mean they are currently good.
