Our work on gendered cities continues to be cited by journalists and public entities. In this case, the Gijón City Council (Asturias) cited our work and website in an initiative to rename a street after a female figure:

#OTD in 1936, Federico García Lorca was assassinated by Spanish fascists during the Civil War. He was one of the greatest Spanish poets of the 20th cent and one the most commemorated figures in the Spanish street map, with 1154 streets. France and Italy also have more than 100 streets honoring him.

It has been about two years since we launched our street-names search apps.
This figure summarizes the usage of the apps.
In total, 28,400 queries and ~6,000 downloads. Not bad for an app like this, but we hope the numbers keep growing
