few nice songs and some lovely production for sure but it's all stuff that goes in a mood playlist rather than lighting up the dancefloor.
the Harry Styles album is pretty eclectic but Aperture was definitely the omen. He clearly wants to branch out and show off his alternative taste but he's too sleepy a performer and the beats are too restrained to capture the anthemic catharsis he's going for.
