The House Oversight Committee will be voting on a bill to remove every traffic camera in DC (HR 5525) next Wednesday. I hope someone asks the bill's supporters how many DC tickets they've gotten and why they're more focused on their own pocketbooks than solving problems for their constituents

I dislike the big tax cut push because it plays into the decades-old Republican framing that government is bad. We are seeing the Trump administration shred government services. Now is the time to advocate for the amazing things government can do to help people. Tax contributions are part of that.
