"RJ Decker" hits a sweet spot for me - I wanted to like it, and it didn't let me down.
Solid cast of characters, lovable actors, a solid writing pedigree. And who doesn't love a down-on-his-luck PI with a heart of gold?
The formula isn't new, but it doesn't have to be.
This goes for American comics, too. Take what you think they make, halve it, then halve it again. And if they aren't working for the Big Two, halve it again. And to be brutally honest, if they're writing and drawing graphic novels, halve it yet again.

The rule of diminishing returns applied with this second sequel, but Booth wisely put most of the focus on the villains, who stole the show, especially Wings. We almost had too many bad guys!
Vanity was a nice addition to the cast as well, though her love scenes with Dalton were a little chilly.
