Itβs the βseason of love and givingββ¦but this year, doesnβt it seem more like a βseason of fear and takingβ? Like many of you, Iβve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

Iβm very much embracing the contemplative, inward energy of winter this year. Granted, coastal CA winter is easy mode. But Iβm loving being home, laying under heated blankets, and doing not a whole lot on my days off. Peace and quiet is a huge luxury and Iβm lucky to have it.

The venn digram of people who will go out of their way to find a wipe and clean the handle of their shopping cart and those who will wear a mask while shopping is 2 circles.
Itβs not just that speed cameras are fairer, itβs that every police stop carries some risk of a catastrophic outcome.
Sandra Bland, Philando Castile and Walter Scott would probably be alive today if not for needless police stops.
