So the plate might look like:
Swipe purée
Chicken atop
Asparagus leaning or balanced on chicken
Round disk of corn salad opposite the chicken.

Looks and sounds delicious!! You want to leave some negative space on the plate itself. A swipe of the purée would help vs the large amt. Also, think about height/dimensionality. The corn salad could be formed into a round biscuit cutter for example.

Also, I haven’t eaten a lot of wagyu. Often I feel like the steaks aren’t my style. But damn a wagyu burger fucks!

The Boursin burger was ridiculously phenomenal. Will serve and make again. The caprese was good very fresh and lovely. Maybe a perfect light summer burger. The meat was seasoned with a bit of soy, fish, Worcestershire, and Maggi along with garlic powder and onion powder.

Made wagyu burgers for dinner 2 ways. First: tomato, red onion, mozzarella, gem lettuce, balsamic “caprese burger”. Second: Boursin cheese, carmelized onions, candied kale “saveur bomb”.

I think I should have ground my coffee finer… I realize now at the last of the bag of beans.

Today waking up felt like clawing out of a dark silk sheet covered hole in the ground. Like in movies when someone groggily slaps the alarm and looks at the clock going what time is it? (Except I woke up 5 mins before my alarm)

It’s kind of like the gentle ennui I feel regarding the distinct lack of swords in my life. I always thought I’d own at least a few by now.

Aww I actually have never seen that movie. But I enjoyed him in Suicide Squad, Lord of War, Blade Runner 49 (mainly bc he was being weird JL), American Psycho, Panic Room… I agree with you tho he isn’t perfect for most roles.
