Screaming into the void
I promise I am not an alfoil hat type, but it would not surprise me in the least if #Trump decided to sacrifice one of his most faithful, with a trained sniper, to justify military coercion and distract from #Epstein. #Kirkgate just saying. #conspiracy101.

If only they also turned up
To vote.
The dismantling of education is on the agenda in Trump like style. Think about that when you vote. An educated populace is much harder to manipulate. #auspol
End of rant.
Community sport for children n needs an overhaul and parent coaches need far more training.
And then thereβs the time I complained to the coaches when he was just 10 that another player was repeatedly calling him a C word - their response? βSome kids canβt handle the banterβ
And then thereβs the βif he canβt control his emotions he shouldnβt be playingβ as if 15 year old boys canβt resent being yelled at and forced to comply.
This is what I am experiencing as a parent of a child with a disability competing in local district basketball. Coaches yelling at players who are under 18, using exertion as a punitive consequence for non-compliance - think βsuicidesβ and pushups. Even the language works me.

>weβve reached the βNATO allies are releasing travel warnings to their citizens to not travel to the United Statesβ stage of the Trump Presidency
Are there any good follows that donβt involve American politics. I keep finding myself down that depressing rabbit hole.
Itβs a coup
The good news is that there *are* people meeting the moment.

Insanity
Donβt feed the trolls. They tend to get territorial and start using playground tactics like name calling, making racist tirades about uber drivers and calling people gay. Not worth the oxygen, my friend!
The hardest thing about #sobriety, for me anyway, is the clarity with which memory returns. The replaying of reel after reel of moments I tried to annihilate in the first place. A constant parade of humiliation, shame and regret. And the need to overshare. Apologies.
After watching βAdolescenceβ on Netflix, this article hits home. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
Just finished watching #adolescence and it was a tough watch. This on threads was the best description by Gina Martin www.threads.net/@ginamartin/...
What a privilege to be able to attend the International Womenβs Day Breakfast as President of EdTechSA and a member of the Educators SA board. Listening to Rachel Perkins talk about the heroic acts of activism our mothers and sisters take each day Happy IWD. #MarchForward #IWD2025
This is everything I have been thinking but unable to say in the face of a barrage of βletβs all get with the times and use AIβ Thankyou.
Just finished watching Douglas is Cancelled and I thought it was brilliant writing. It was intense.
I thought it was brilliant
The graphic shows arrows going from 11 general agencies and institutions to Musk companies which include SpaceX, Tesla. neuralink, x, and Musk himself. The text at the top reads: Trump firings hit agencies with oversight of Musk's companies Staffing changes, including the firing of several top officials, have affected agencies with federal investigations into or regulatory battles with Elon Musk's companies. The graphic is credit to Malika Khurana for the New York Times
A historic graphic of corruption.
The 11 federal agencies so far targeted for firings or dismantling by Elon Musk have more than 30 ongoing investigations into his companies.

Question for #teachers what do you want from a curriculum framework?
I acknowledge the Kaurna people on whose lands I live and work.
This is my βalmost end of Januaryβ read. Set a target of one book a month because I donβt get enough time to read, so I am making time. Exceeding this target! I chose this purely for the title and a celebrity review! So was dubious, but it does not disappoint. Compelling from the first page.
Finished it. Loved it. Brilliant writing. Hope to catch you for and autograph at writers week, Adelaide.
