They understand. The problem is that if it’s Dems delivering social benefits, the “urban” people they despise will also benefit. They want a party that gives to them, while it destroys the lives of Black communities, LGBTQ people, women, the educated, immigrants, religious minorities, etc.

If rural voters actually cared about this instead of servicing whatever ideological grievances they have against ppl that live in cities, theyd have voted for the nominee who was VP for the president that passed multiple bills that shoveled $ into rural areas for jobs, healthcare, & infrastructure

A whole lot of problems in America really can be traced to the obstinateness of rural Americans that want a whites-only welfare state.

Rural voters dont vote dem when we either promise to build or actually build things for them, so people saying this is the problem can go fuck themselves.
