the current position of the US government is that NVIDIA should be allowed to sell chips directly to China but banned from using Claude, because the latter is a larger national security risk. that is the level of absolute insanity coming out of the White House & Pentagon nowadays

I just gave to The Labor Force! Show your support with a contribution.

Okay folks LISTEN UP.

There’s something you can do during this terrible Inauguration day to feel a glimmer of hope AND strike a critical blow against the Trump-Bezos-billionaire-bro oligarchy.

While Bezos with his fellow billionaires at Trump's inauguration, help his warehouse workers organize:

Everyone already knew you weren't an attorney! :)

I don't understand what you are talking about. What other laws should she have been charged with breaking? The law linked is the law on topic.

Section 1-13-708 - Tampering with voting equipment, Colo. Rev. Stat. Β§ 1-13-708 | Casetext Search + Citator Read Section 1-13-708 - Tampering with voting equipment, Colo. Rev. Stat. Β§ 1-13-708, see flags on bad law, and search Casetext’s comprehensive legal database

i dont know what this is, but the specific law in question here is copied below. it requires a "knowing" mental state.

The law requires intention. Is it your contention that the SOS herself intentionally posted these passwords on the site?

Correct Glenn! Multiple layers of physical security in the way here even with the disclosure.

yes. we agree. and the op-ed is incredibly dumb and proof that particular outlet isn't a serious or "real" one.

ok, are you a real person? you aren't exactly engaging like a human here.

Im not arguing against bike lanes as a policy choice, I am a huge supporter. In fact, if you'll remember from about 7 minutes ago, my first post was about how stupid the OpEd attacking them as a policy choice is...

personal annoyance!

I am a big supporter of bike lanes as a policy choice though and am happy to continue making that annoyance a me problem. :)

im sure you are aware, but thats not me in that video.

And I get it, me not liking bike lanes but also supporting them is nuanced and complicated for social media, but, my point remains: this oped is incredibly dumb.\

EDITORIAL: Mike Johnston’s lonely bike lanes Search the web for β€œempty bike lanes,” and you’ll turn up two kinds of posts. From motorists wondering why they’re stuck in traffic while no bicyclists are in the bike

further proof that this isnt a real newspaper. This is the most uninformed article I've ever read from an edboard in Colorado.

And I abhor bike lanes.

Most agree that vacancy committees in Colorado are a net negative for "democracy", but the alternatives are fraught with real concerns.

Any particularly good ideas for what to do when a legislator resigns that doesn't require an immediate special election?

29.11.2024 17:23 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

But how can we trust the party apparatus will support a leader anyone will trust?

Even after this election, they don't see the problem.

This is what Dems lost to. That's scary. Our message couldn't beat the specter of Dr. Oz and RFK and a government that exists to fuel the creation of memes.

I've been a Dem my whole life. I've worked with or for a shit ton of elected dems in Colorado...
