In a ceremony held yesterday at the South Carolina State House, Senator Tameika Isaac Devine read a Senate resolution declaring May 5, 2025 as β€œMissing and Murdered Indigenous Woman Red Dress Day” in South Carolina, marking it as the first formal recognition of MMIW Red Dress Day by the Senate.
