Had a weird dream, woke up with a Duran Duran song in my head.
Of course I listened to it, I couldn't remember the words in my dream.
And now I'm real awake at quarter to six in the morning. Ugh.
I'm having a real crappy time right now and there really isn't anyone I can talk to about it who would understand.
I'm gonna just stare at YouTube for a while and hopefully I'll fall asleep. Tomorrow is another day.

Maintenance is doing work on our section of units today and have been slamming the outside door over and over and over and now someone is in the stairwell with a drill.
Guess I should make noise too.
The spring-ness is kicking my butt and I haven't even really been outside.
Maybe it's the rain and the pressure change but I still feel pretty blah today. I would like at least one more Do Stuff day before I have to go back to chemo next week. It's not gonna be today though, from how I'm feeling.
Today's high is 81°. Next Tuesday the high is 34°.
Someone is just flipping the spring/winter switch off and on.
My brain is too active for this time of night. I wanted to sleep at a normal time...I know I'm fighting a battle against my own night owl nature, but I like having time before appointments to get ready and being awake when the sun is up.
Enough blathering on, time for bed. Gotta turn the brain off.
I don't like perforated pages, though. And I prefer a hard covered thing. Spirals just lay so nice and flat and you can rotate the whole spine so you don't have to fight with the previous pages. But they're almost always perforated. I don't pull much out of my sketchbooks...
I'm gonna run out of space in the big book though. If I continue to draw birds in there I'm gonna take myself down to like maybe a page or two left.
I still have my regular sketchbook, it's 8½x11. And I have two half-size ones that are nice and spiral bound, a thing I also prefer, apparently.
I'm a mural artist at heart I guess. The bigger I can make my art, the better. 😁
I got myself a little sketchbook, it's a 5" square. I drew the bee and the moth in it, but everything else has gone on my big 9x12" drawing pad. The small sketchbook has really nice thick paper and felt good to draw on, but I really like having more room. I just don't wanna carry my big pad around.

Woke up at ten, scrolled the Internet for an hour, fell back asleep for two more hours. Oops.
Today is not a Do Stuff day. 😅

I had a pretty intense session of Hello Kitty today wherein I played the block breaker minigame for like an hour trying to get a piece of furniture I needed so a crab will come visit.
I'm honestly just speed running getting carpal tunnel. 😅 But I must finish the birds. And I wanna keep drawing.
My wrist is dying so I may not do any more birds tonight but I am quite proud of the two I did already. Kinda wanna turn that blue jay into a painting...

It was all ads for pills or injections too. I guess that's somewhat to be expected since I was at the hospital?

I almost forgot about this.
While I was in the tube for my MRI they were playing music from YouTube, so there were ads. One of them was for some kind of boner pill, and the little warning section of the ad used the word penis *so many times* that I had to try really hard not to giggle.
I did something I haven't done in such a long time.
I actually slept through the daylight savings change.
Which means I actually did get one hour less of sleep... But I guess seven hours is enough.
