My husband got Covid like two years into the pandemic and it took him a solid six months or more working with a personal trainer to regain his cardio capacity and stamina.

its only been like a week and this is already one of the stupidest things anyone's ever posted
They have a big head start but are down by pretty big percentages all over. The trendlines are really not in their favor, particularly with BYD coming up.
Of course Elon Musk is the worst offender, championing the free market while building businesses entirely based on government subsidies and protectionism. BYD alone would wipe out whatβs left of Tesla.
Increasingly we get all the worst parts of the free market and few of the benefits. If Chinese cars, particularly EVs, could sell here theyβd instantly solve the affordability issue, and theyβd force American car companies to do better.

I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
The risk for babies who get measles under the age of 6 months to develop this within 10 years is 1 in 600.
the archeological unwinding of this era's fraud will take decades, assuming we emerge semi-intact
I have to assume we're probably only seeing like 30% of it
It's extremely clear that the US doesn't really have an objective here except to inflict maximum pain, and attacking water supply is going to end catastrophically for the entire region. It's not just a war crime, it's approaching a crime against humanity.
Eric Trump and Donald Trump, Jr. are acquiring a drone company that is seeking to meet Pentagon demand after Trump banned the use of Chinese drones.
Weβre barely a week into Trumpβs war and already his family has found a way to cash in.
Everything is for sale.
Really? Because 90 minutes ago the President told a reporter he thinks the war is βvery completeβ and indicated fighting would soon be over.
No better illustration of how this dude is the worst of everything about American taken to its logical endpoint than him abandoning people he promised to help within a week.
Conan the Logan
It wasn't even a one time thing. The only variable is did he hate Trump enough to have changed his mind over it.
Yes, something tells me his politics on this may not have been great. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7s5...
Itβs almost as if there is no cogent definition of βwhite peopleβ since itβs all a social construct.
THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!
Time to stick those "I did that!" Trump stickers on every gas pump.

βBut these were for spying on other people, not me!β the perverts cried.
"The data labelers in Kenya described seeing footage of people naked, watching porn, and talking about crimes and protests. Faces are often blurred, the story said, but sometimes are visible, depending on the lighting."
Letβs-a go!
the Austin mass shooter was a Tesla employee who assaulted a coworker during a company-allowed prayer break late last year
the company refused to give the victim her assailant's name so she could press charges, and he went on to become a mass shooter

The right are consolidating all news media and all major social media in to meticulously designed right wing bubbles and these obnoxious losers still go out of their way to whine about left wing bubbles. To the absurd degree that theyβre talking about a platform this small to make that point
Statements like Hegseth's are a great reminder that this group doesn't love Israel for any reason other than its place in their end-times prophecy.
It always seems impossibly naive when people try to divine the intentions of a corporation through any lens other than profit. The same goes for our President.
there's a lot going on right now but did you know a massive amount of the world's fertilizer flows through the middle east, and did you know that that fertilizer needs to be shipped to the us *right now* for planting season, and uh did you know we are at war with iran
When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.
Leading recession indicator.
The irony of Trump becoming the ultimate renewables president in the worst way possible.
