I finally finished the Kraken crochet amigurumi, pattern by @craftyintentions.bsky.social
Turns out worsted yarn is 10 ply and not 12, so this ended up a bit bigger then expected aha.
I need to improve my sewing though, I still feel like it's always a bit rough.

It's all good. Take care of yourself, try not to read when you're in a bad place. Have to spread the information in a straight forward manner for people to understand. It's really hard, and involves compartmentalization, and regular breaks.

It did take me a little bit to realise you were talking about the files. The only thing I would suggest to constantly reiterate, this info is out there to read, it's in there, and people need to start being aware. Our culture is built on looking away at uncomfortable things, we can't do it anymore

It's true horror movie shit done by the same people who will censor these type of movies like A Serbian Film. I think everyone needs to re-read 1984 again, not because we could see this happening but because it really does a great job of explaining how these people can exist.

Depends what it is honestly. Pizza toppings, media, video games etc sure. Politics, well, it was the US that turned it into an either or. Social media is also just a big sounding board, irl it's not as bad as that most of the time.

Amigurumi hands down. Its better for my brain in that it requires preciseness which I love but at lesser volumes and monotony broken up by other things such as sewing, making stuff out of felt and gluing. I save clothing/blankets for when I'm anxious and need repetition and easily forgiven mistakes

Great thing about those types of jackets is it's made up of singular granny squares sewed together, so you can attempt one square and get an idea of its difficulty, amount of wool needed and time making it

Writing stuff in your own words in general always helps towards understanding things better for sure.

I usually need a pattern with anything, but a clothing item/blanket can be adapted to what you want, whereas the amigurumi not as much. It needs to be followed fairly exact to get the right shapes

They just didn't have white of all colours aha.
Crochet was harder for me to learn. I have to rewrite patterns in notes so I can tick off rounds and write out the abbreviations.
Cross stitch I don't use patterns, I just look at pictures and count, same with mini painting. I can't visualise 3d tho
