Hört sich spannend an, vor allem die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven/Strategien. Musste bei deiner Rezension mehrfach an "Parts Per Million" von Theresa Hannig denken.
Könnt ihr bitte meine Buchrezension zum Klimaroman, «The Deluge» von Stephen Markley zeigen? Ohne mir zu sagen, wurde er in einem Buch ausgelassen.
Das Buch ist ein Ausläufer unserer jetzigen Situation - eine schleichende Katastrophe & deren Folgen.

Eine nüchterne Analyse von Bedrohungen und entsprechenden Handlungsoptionen, die bis auf den letzten Abschnitt ohne Hopium auskommt. Etwas mehr Differenzierung im Abschnitt System Change und die explizite Erwähnung von Faschismus als Gefahr für die Demokratie wären jedoch wünschenswert gewesen.
Maggus war leider nicht zuhause, wieder auf dem Rückweg.

I'd say the concept "just collapse" explores ethical dimensions of societal and environmental collapse. It considers how the burdens and impacts of collapse can be distributed fairly, especially to avoid exacerbating existing inequalities. (not an expert though)
I believe in rethinking economic and democratic systems to foster justice and sustainability—and preparing for the practical realities of breakdowns. I’m especially looking forward to connecting with fellow #TeamCollapse folks, particularly those in Switzerland, to exchange ideas and strategies.
