We appreciate the City Council debate on the Marda Loop redevelopment and parking minimums. This discussion highlights the need for balanced, equitable urban planning, rather than framing mobility choices as conflict. This is not a “war on cars.”

#yycbike Bike Calgary stands with Velo Canada Bikes in calling out this terrible Bill 60 just passed in Ontario. We must come together all across Canada to prevent this wrong headed thinking from spreading any further.
Today the ON gov't passed a bill which amends the Highway Traffic Act to ban municipalities from building any bike lane that would reconfigure roads.
We made a submission to Premier Doug Ford, Min. of Transport Prabmeet Sarkaria & Min. of Municipal Affairs & Housing Rob Flack.
