I am doing my full read of The Boddicker Letters by A C Cross for the SPFBO competition.

If you gave this narrator the phone book to recite, it would be entertaining. Turns out I'm a sucker for good voice.

Was it Secret Rendezvous by Kōbō Abe? Because that is a book that will confuse you over who is a horse.
