This is absolutely one of my top tips!
I can't tell you the amount of times I thought I had a great shot,only to realise something was slightly off when editing
Like you said, taking multiple shots is key, even very minor tweaks to angle can make a big difference & you can always delete afterwards

The themes are extremely good for several reasons, but for me most importantly:
Gets you involved in the brilliant community, seeing what others are doing, maybe even make some new friends
Can get you focused on a specific idea & can lead you to trying new ideas, take you out your comfort zone
