In the last 10 years, this suggestion has the least chance of implementation of all that I've heard. Trump's "US annexing Canada" idea is about as unlikely.

Trump is of course the worst, but there's this continuing thing where US Pres. and their cocky military leaders think we can roll into the ME, whip everybody militarily, and impose our standards and culture on populations with which we have nothing in common. Shockingly, it doesn't work out.

IMHO one of the top 10 players all-time. Great contact hitter (with Rose and Cobb top 3 all-time), great situation hitter, great base runner, great outfielder, all while adjusting to playing in a foreign culture, different language. Incredible career(s).

100% agree. They get pissed because they're envious of people just playing a game (as they see it) making incredible money. They don't acknowledge the long-term diligent effort required for athletes to rise to the top of their sport, or the likelihood of their careers ending at any moment.
